  This is the first time I've ever done a review like this, but my experience with Sterling was so negative, I felt others should be aware before choosing an agent.
  Sterling Barton was the listing agent on a home we recently purchased. He was a nightmare to work with. He neglected to have the utilities turned on in the home so we could complete a home inspection, even though he was given plenty of notice, which resulted in an extra $75 fee to have the property reinspected. His office refused to pay for the extra fee.
  He did not return phone calls and emails to our agent. Finally I called his office myself, and again, he did not respond.
  The sellers (who I have been in contact with) left user manuals and garage door openers in the home- but they are all gone. Typically these things are given to the buyer at closing, along with the keys, etc. Sterling says they don't have them... Another example of carelessness.
  
  If you are looking to list your home with an agent- KEEP LOOKING. Find an agent that is professional and reliable. Not an agent that may cost you a buyer because he doesn't return calls/emails. If you happen to be unlucky enough to find a home you'd like to purchase and he's the listing agent-brace yourself for an unpleasant purchasing experience. IF he doesn't respond to you, prepare to be treated rudely.
